Do we have to swim the whole way?

No - just Start on the sand outside Coogee SLSC and finish at the Cloey pub—route is up to you! The main route includes a swim from South Coogee to Clovelly via the bombie, landing at Clovelly Beach, followed by a run/walk/crawl to the Cloey, where the clock stops.

But what of my shoes and outfit?

bag drops will be offered at the start line, which will be transported to the pub so you can mingle and celebrate in style.

What’s the investment?

Zero. Club 2 Pub is free to join, just a good attitude is required.

Will there be water safety?

no - In keeping with our Friday mornings, there will not be water safety in attendance. We recommend swimming in pairs, and submitting your times together as a team. Swim within your limits. The full course swim is around 1.8km. please read our disclaimer here

Can I be sneaky and wear fins and a wetsuit?

Absolutely, as this is not a race for speed, you can use whatever tools you need to make the journey. Drug testing not available.

Speaking of sneaky,how about a watch, I want that kudos...

We understand that everyone wants to record their activities, so watches will be allowed. We expect an honour system where users change their screen so as not to cheat their way to the closest time.

What happens at the end?

Our Christmas party will be held at the Cloey Hotel, celebrating all things Club 2 Pub, Crustmas and the Crusties. Prizes supplied by Budgy Smuggler will be presented and laughs may be had.
